The Sydney International Wine Competition 2010 caps its entries at 2,000 to ensure the accurate, unfettered palates of its fourteen member international judging Panel.
The entries were assessed by the Panel of judges from six countries [Australia, New Zealand, England, Singapore, Northern Ireland and USA] which included six Masters of Wine and eight other equally highly qualified judges, under the Chairmanship of Chief Judge Kym Milne MW, during the week ending 23rd October 2009.
The Competition promotes wines of balance, harmony and current drinkability. Currently, still the only major international wine show’s results where, for meaningful consumer guidance, Finalists have been judged alongside appropriate food.
