General

Vintages may change without notice.

We reserve the right to change the price subject to GST variations.

All offers of sale are made by Tscharke Wines Pty Ltd Licence No. 50806579.

Under Australian law you must be over the age of 18 years to purchase wine from Tscharke Wines. It is an offence under the Liquor Licencing Act 1997 to sell, supply or obtain liquor on behalf of persons less than 18 years of age. Tscharke Wines supports the responsible service of alcohol.


Content Accuracy

Whilst we strive to ensure the information on this Site is as timely and accurate as possible, we make no claims, promises or guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or adequacy of the contents of this Site, and expressly disclaim liability for content errors and omissions.


Online Ordering

Whilst we encourage visitations to Tscharke Wines (Farmgate Wine Sales only, cellar door closed for tastings), located in Marananga, Barossa Valley, South Australia, we understand making the trip is not always possible. Ordering Tscharke wines via our online order form is a quick and easy option to purchase our wines direct. To receive an order form, you need to either be subscribed to the Tscharke mailing list to receive monthly correspondence or contact us directly. Customers can subscribe to the mailing list at tscharke.com.au/signup.

Upon receiving the completed order form, we raise you an invoice via email, payable through a secure online portal. Credit card details collected through the online payment system are encrypted and protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. American Express is not accepted.

Tscharke Wines prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST and WET [Wine Equalisation Tax]. We accept payment via Visa and MasterCard. A tax invoice will be issued via email upon your order being successfully completed. Upon receiving your completed payment, we will ship your wines (if shipping.)

All wines are available on a while-stocks-last basis. The order forms are processed on a first-in basis, and we cannot guarantee availability of desired wines. Should a specific vintage of wines or wines ordered beSold Outand we have an alternative vintage in stock, we will fill your order with the alternative vintage. Should there not be an alternative vintage we will call you to discuss suggested alternative wine (s).


Despatch & Delivery of Wine Orders

Wine orders are despatched on a thrice-weekly basis. We are pleased to be shipping all wine orders through Australia Post (please allow on average 7 to 10 working days for delivery). Should you not be home when delivery is attempted, and in the absence of any special delivery instructions, a card will be left in your letterbox advising of the nearest Post Office location where your wines will await collection, protected against theft, rain or heat.

The Post Office will only release your wine upon presentation of identification matching the name of the consignee.

Tscharke Wines accepts no responsibility for deliveries to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by customers. Should you provide an incorrect address preventing complete delivery, the order will be returned to Tscharke Wines. You will be responsible for any charges incurred in re-delivering to the correct address.

In the event of forecast excessive heat, Tscharke reserves the right to withhold dispatch until temperatures return below 32 degrees, ensuring that the integrity of the wine(s) is maintained.

Freight is charged at $18.00 per carton (6 or 12-pack) Australia wide. The delivery fee is inclusive of insurance against breakages during transit.

Delivery to International destinations is limited. Contact Cellar Door in the first instance to request a freight quotation.


Returns & Refunds

We take great care to deliver you exceptional wines. In the unlikely event you are not completely satisfied with your purchase of Tscharke wines, please contact our office on (08) 8562 4922 or via email, offering full details so that we can resolve the issue in an expedient manner.

Should you be unsatisfied with the quality of the wine(s) received (faulty or corked), please contact our office as soon as possible. We will assess the situation and arrange to send a replacement bottle, being the current vintage of said wine(s). Should the wine no longer be available we will provide you with an alternative current vintage replacement wine from our range.

Upon taking receipt of your wine, please note that we do not offer refunds on the basis of changed mind, or the purpose for its purchase no longer required (ie. event cancellation).

Should you receive a product that is different to that ordered, please contact Cellar Door at your earliest convenience with as much detail as possible. We will endeavour to resend the product initially ordered. Should the ordered product no longer be available, we will work through the following options with you:

1.   Provide you with an alternate product from our range to the value of the original order / items, or

2.   We provide you with a refund to the value of the original order / items.


Transit Loss & Damage

Should your delivery appear to have been lost in transit, you should:

1.   Contact Tscharke Wines as soon as possible with order details,

2.   We will work closely with yourself and our primary freight carrier to ascertain the exact location of the goods,

3.   In the event the goods cannot be located (and advise in writing to this effect), we will organise a replacement order to be re-delivered to you. If the same product is no longer available, we will discuss the following options with you:

·      Send an alternate product of your choice from our range to the value of the original order,

·      Provide you with a refund to the value of the original order.

Should you receive a delivery that appears to have been damaged in transit, you can:

1.   Refuse to accept delivery and ask the delivery service representative to return the product / order to sender. Once notification has been received that goods have been damaged in transit and are on their way back, we will arrange to send replacement product. If the same product is no longer available, we will discuss the following options with you:

·      Send you an alternate product of your choice from our range to the value of the damaged product,

·      Provide you with a refund to the value of the damaged product
